Role Description This is a part-time position (2-3 hours weekly)
for a Cytopathologist, based on-site in San Diego, CA. The
Cytopathologist is responsible for the evaluation and diagnosis of
cytological samples (Pap smears only), and providing guidance and
consultation to our full-time Cytotechnologist. This role mainly
comprises reviewing any abnormal or questionable PAP results,
signing off of clinical lab reports, and active collaboration with
lab staff. Qualifications Proficiency in cytological diagnostics,
specifically in evaluating gynecologic specimens. Knowledge of
laboratory safety standards and quality assurance protocols. Board
certification in Anatomic Pathology and Cytopathology. State
medical license to practice in California. Compensation Danner
Laboratory Inc. pays $250/hr for this position.
