About The Position We are seeking a skilled Interventional Cardiologist for a locum tenens position in California through Barton Associates. This 100-day assignment begins on 07/07/2025, and requires expertise in emergency interventional cardiology procedures, including stents, catheterization, and angioplasty. The ideal candidate will work Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with 24-hour call on weekdays and some weekends (14 shifts/month). A 7-on/7-off rotating schedule is strongly preferred to match with the permanent provider. The physician will handle STEMI call coverage, manage 2-4 STEMIs from ER/clinic per day, and provide inpatient consults and outpatient clinic appointments. Proficiency with Cerner software is required. This opportunity offers the potential for extension beyond the initial assignment period.
