Scripps Mercy Hospital has served central and downtown San Diego since 1890 and is the oldest medical center in the county. The San Diego campus is located near the corner of 5th Avenue and Washington Street in Hillcrest.Scripps Mercy Hospital consists of two campuses in San Diego and Chula Vista.Scripps Mercy Hospital San Diego's campus includes the O'Toole Breast Care Center, a 24-hour emergency room that is a Level I Trauma Center, outpatient physical rehabilitation, minimally invasive robotic surgery and our childbirth unit (including a Level II neonatal intensive care unit).This is a Full Time, 12 hour shifts RN opportunity, working Day Shift (0700 to 1930) in our ICU Float Pool between our Mercy Hospitals (San Diego and Chula Vista). Nurses enjoy flexibility, teamwork, and leadership support while floating between units. As a Critical Care nurse, you'll join a skilled team focused on delivering excellent care. Responsibilities include assessing, planning, and implementing patient care, while evaluating progress towards outcomes. The RN takes primary responsibility for patient care and collaborates with the care team to ensure optimal results in a family-centered environment.The Following Are Not Eligible For Hiring Incentives

      • Registered Nursing Degree from an Accredited School of Nursing
      • Active California RN license
      • American Heart Association BLS and ACLS Healthcare Provider Certifications
      • 1 year of recent adult ICU/CCU experience
      • Must be willing to float to other units
      • Be able to speak, read and following instructions in English
      • Have excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrate positive behaviorsPreferred Qualifications
        • Bachelor's degree in nursing
