Vocational Nurse (LVN) in the North/South San Diego area who shares
our passion for providing dignified, compassionate end-of-life
care. Shift Schedule: Full-Time, Monday - Friday (8:00am -

more! Qualifications:
- Must have a valid Licensed Vocational/Practical Nursing license
within this state
- Must have at least one year of working experience as a
LVN/LPN
- Hospice experience preferred, but not required
- Must have evidence of CPR training
- This role requires a valid driver's license and a good driving
record as a condition of employment. Associates must comply with
all state and federal driving regulations
- Associates in roles requiring driving are responsible for
maintaining a valid and active driver's license. Failure to
maintain a valid license may result in reassignment, suspension, or
termination in accordance with company policies and applicable
laws
- Reliable transportation and willingness to drive to patient's
location
- You may be required to work outside of your regular hours
depending on business needsWhat you will be doing:
- Demonstrated competency in performance of skilled nursing
functions
- Ability to work with dying patients and their families
- Under the direction of a Registered Nurse, the Hospice field
nurse provides skilled nursing and palliative care for assigned
Hospice patients. He/she works cooperatively with the other members
of the Interdisciplinary Hospice Team
- The Hospice nurse provides intermittent visits or shifts of
skilled nursing care, performs prescribed medical treatments,
including pain management and symptom control, provides nursing
observations, provides teaching regarding the expected course of
the disease, care techniques and other health measures to the
patient, family or other primary caregiver, and participates in the
care plan development and implementation
- Performs all related duties as assignedAnticipated pay range:
