Job Description:
This full-time RN 1 position at the Cardiology - New River
Valley involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating
patient care across all ages to ensure optimal outcomes. Work hours
are Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm, with a potential sign-on bonus for
qualified candidates. Responsibilities include conducting
age-specific assessments, collaborating with healthcare teams and
families, accurately administering treatments and medications using
electronic medical records, and providing patient and family
education. The role emphasizes patient advocacy, rights protection,
and offering psychological, social, and cultural support.
Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program,
Virginia RN licensure or eligibility, CPR certification, and
