Responsibilities

• Full responsibility for weekend Jr. High and High School ministry programs
  • Program preparation
  • Room set-up and tear-down
  • Create a warm, inviting environment for students.
  • Enlist, equip, empower, and encourage an adult volunteer teamSmall Groups
    • Steward a small group time centralized to the weekend program
    • Provide pastoral care as neededEvents
      • Create a strategic event calendar containing 8 events a year (including centrally run Summer Camp)Team Aspects
        • Various campus responsibilities weekly
        • Participate in the greater SSM team through monthly meetings and collaboration efforts
        • Meet with Student Central Support TeamExperience
          • Experience working in student ministry.
          • A bachelor's degree is desirable.
          • Proficient in the use of Google Workspace.Qualities
            • Passionate follower of Jesus
            • Team player
            • Passionate about working with students (Grades 6-12)
            • Able to multitask and handle shifting priorities
            • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

The estimated pay rate for this position is $25.00-$26.00 per hour. We will provide a pay rate within our salary structure that fits a candidate's qualifications and experience for the job.
