How will you make an impact?

The Sr. Director Market Access Strategy & Reimbursement is part of the Market Access Strategy Team to work cohesively within the cross-functional teams that includes Marketing, HEOR, Medical Affairs, Clinical, Regulatory and the Health Technology Assessment process and ensures clinical and economic evidence in support of successful North American product launches. The Senior Director will develop all market entry strategies for Glaukos drug portfolio products including the development of market access landscapes, protocol development and payment pathways.

What will you do?

Responsible for evidence development and modeling in conjunction with health economics team to support local reimbursement applications and future Health Technology Assessments. Collaborate with internal Market Access Team including government affairs, to ensure optimization of coding, coverage, and payment of Glaukos portfolio technology. Member of global market access and health economics leadership team.

A key component of the role will be to develop and implement focused market access landscape assessment and plans for the pipeline portfolio.

Responsibilities will encompass:

* Provides strategic direction on market access pathways for portfolio products, including assessments of potential new markets and technologies.
* Responsible for execution of regional reimbursement fillings and health technology assessment responses
* Leads clinical and economic evidence development for product portfolio in collaboration with global health economics including but not limited to pharmacoeconomic models, economic studies, cost effectiveness models, and budget impact models.
* Design pricing models to evaluate the impact of pricing strategies on ASP, AMP and Best Price and provide recommendations to Senior Management.

Additionally, the Senior Director will also lead ASP and State Pricing and Transparency Reporting working collaboratively with cross functional teams (Finance, Legal, Market Access) and vendors to prepare and submit reports to federal and state programs. The selected individual will also provide strategic direction to the franchise heads and Commercial organization for all market access activities related to Glaukos portfolio products, as well as overseeing development of critical market research including development of qualitative and quantitative areas of study and determining fundamental go-to-market principles to achieve optimal product commercialization.

How will you get here?

* Bachelor's degree in Science, Business, or Marketing. Advanced degree or MBA is preferred.
* 10+ yrs. of medical device marketing, market access and/or management experience is required preferably within ophthalmic surgical or pharmaceutical areas. Candidate must have had prior global market access strategy experience and a demonstrated track record of obtaining medical device reimbursement around the world and has successfully managed health technology assessments.
* Candidate should also have experience in a business development, strategy, and/or corporate development role within a pharmaceutical or medical device company. Experience in participating in cross-functional teams within marketing, market access, and/or business development and clinical function with a global scope and a track record for success. International experience is strongly preferred.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to speak to all levels of the organization.
* Solid industry working knowledge with existing KOLs, thought leaders, medical societies, lobbying organizations, payers, and HTA relationships. Ability to develop and build relationships with all constituents quickly, both internally and externally, to drive results.
* Cross functional knowledge and strong interpersonal skills within a team environment to influence others toward business results including Finance, RA/QA, Sales/Marketing, Ops, International Management, Medical Affairs, Clinical Affairs, Business Development, Product Development, Clinical Training, and Human Relations & Administration.
* Detailed knowledge of North American market dynamics including but not limited to, ASP, SPTR, pricing sensitivity, lifecycle pricing strategies, market research, and HTA.
