Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Occupational
Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of
Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not
meet these qualifications will not be considered. An opportunity is
available for a dedicated Occupational Therapist specializing in
school-based therapy to support students from PreK through 8th
grade in a full-time, onsite role located in Yuma, AZ. This
position offers a contract spanning the 2026-2027 school year,
starting in early August and concluding in late May, with potential
adjustments to dates. Key Responsibilities: Provide occupational
therapy services tailored to the developmental and educational
needs of students within K-8 settings Collaborate with teachers,
parents, and educational staff to develop and implement
individualized treatment plans Conduct assessments and document
student progress regularly to support educational goals Participate
in multidisciplinary team meetings to ensure integrated care and
support for student success Maintain compliance with state and
federal regulations applicable to school-based therapy
Qualifications and Experience: Active Arizona Occupational Therapy
license required Valid IVP Fingerprint Card essential for
employment within the school system Experience delivering
occupational therapy services in a school environment preferred
Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively
partner with educators and families Ability to manage a caseload
while maintaining detailed documentation Location and Schedule:
Position is full time, Monday through Friday, totaling 40 hours per
week Services will be provided onsite at a K-12 educational
